What’s New for the 2026 Dodge Durango
Dodge introduced a new Blacktop Redline package for 2026, which includes 20-inch black wheels and other unique styling elements. The Tow 'N' Go package is now available as a standalone option.
Design
The Durango’s look hasn’t radically changed since this generation’s debut in 2011. The 2026 model features the same curvy shape with an upright grille and clean lines. Dodge offers a range of wheel options, and the SUV is available with appearance packages that add black exterior accents and other changes.
Powertrain
Dodge offers a handful of powerful engine options for the 2026 Durango. The base engine is a 3.6-litre V6 making 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A 5.7-litre Hemi V8 is available, which produces 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The range-topping engine for 2026 is the Hellcat supercharged 6.2-litre V8 with 710 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. All engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive (AWD) in Canada.
Interior
The Durango seats up to seven people on standard cloth upholstery. Genuine and Nappa leather upholstery options are available, along with heated and ventilated front seats (note the GT trim does not include heated front seats as standard), heated second-row seats, and a power sunroof. Cargo space is only decent, at 487 litres with the third-row seats upright. The space measures 1,226 litres with the third row folded flat, and up to 2,438 litres with the second and third rows down.
Technology
Dodge equips a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch digital gauge cluster as standard, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and more. Higher trims add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Durango is available with a few upgraded stereos, including a 19-speaker sound system in top trims.
